Development statusKnow what matters now, what can wait, and who is helping.
HearthRelay is being designed as one calm, family-controlled place to organize practical tasks, records, people, and institution contacts after someone dies.
Start with one useful step. Skip anything uncertain. Return whenever you are ready.
The working concept
Support for coordination—not professional advice.
The service is intended to help a family organize administrative work and general education. It will not determine legal authority, interpret documents, calculate taxes or distributions, file court forms, move money, or replace an attorney, accountant, financial institution, government agency, or other qualified professional.
A calmer plan
See practical suggestions grouped by what may matter soon, what can wait, and what may not apply.
Family controlled
Keep private family coordination separate from a funeral home's invitation and sponsorship records.
Clear boundaries
Know when information is official, a product suggestion, your own note, or something to confirm with a professional.
A sponsoring funeral home does not own the family workspace.
A funeral home may eventually offer or sponsor access, but it will not automatically see family documents, private notes, account inventories, conversations, or detailed task activity.
